Mission Statement
Our Mission is to provide Holistic Comprehensive wellness care to vulnerable and undeserved youth as a collaboration with Meharry Medical College and the agencies located at the Youth Opportunity Center.
The Meharry Youth Health and Wellness Center offers both medical and wellness/ preventive services designed to cater to the specific needs of today’s youth.
Our medical services include:
- Routine Physicals
- Sick Visits- Cold/ Flu/ Infections/ Minor Injuries
- TB Skin Tests
- STI Screening and Treatment
We offer a variety of wellness/ prevention services including the following:
- Smoking prevention/ Cessation
- Suicide Awareness/ Prevention
- Alcohol & Drug Relapse Prevention
- Anger Management/ Stress Reduction
- Nutrition Counseling and Fitness Programs
- HIV Education, Testing and Counseling

Monday- Friday 8:00- 5:00 p.m.
Medical Services
Mondays 8:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. (Family Clinic)
Tuesday 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Pediatric Clinic)
Thursdays 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Pediatric Clinic)
Wellness/ Prevention Services
