TENNderCare is
the name of Tennessee’s comprehensive physical exam for children who receive
TennCare. This comprehensive exam is free of charge to all TennCare
recipients who are under the age of 21. The exam includes a health
history, a complete physical exam, lab tests (as needed), immunizations, vision
and hearing screenings, developmental and behavioral screenings and advice on
how to stay healthy.
Research has
reported increases in obesity, diabetes, and other chronic diseases among the
nation’s children, these services can help assure your students will be
healthier and better able to participate in classroom activities.
We hope you will
partner with us in our efforts to make our children healthier and free of
disease. Please feel free to contact us if you would like for a

The TennderCare
program services many populations with outreach workers fluent in English,
French, Somali, Kurdish, Arabic, and Spanish as well as other varying dialects.
ALL THAT WE REQUIRE
IS AT LEAST 1-2 WEEKS NOTICE AND A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT AND WE
WILL BE THERE TO HAND OUT PLENTY OF HELPFUL INFORMATION AND FREE INCENTIVES!
