Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
LIHEAP provides assistance with payments of Electric, Gas, Propane or other energy resource bills. You do not have to own the home to get assistance and your energy source does not have to be gas or electric in order to receive services (propane, wood, kerosene and coal are also covered under this program). If you need assistance it is important that your services are in an “active status” meaning your service has not been disconnected due to non payment. We cannot pay on an account that requires reconnection fee or deposit under this program. Please allow us enough time to process your payment prior to the threat of disconnection, otherwise it would be necessary for you to settle any fees prior to assistance from us.
