* Must have TennCare * Upon contacting LifeCare for an initial appointment you will be scheduled with a trained mental health or counseling professional. During this initial visit, the level of care and services will be determined in conjunction with your assigned professional caregiver. The services referred may include Counseling, Case Management, Nursing, and/or Psychiatric intervention depending on the severity of the issues. LifeCare offers both individual and group counseling and case management services customized to fit the needs of the individual, couple, single parent, or traditional family who is experiencing any on going issues in their life and need professional help or assistance.

The HERO program is co-sponsored by MNPS and the Tennessee Department of Education to support the educational needs of homeless children and youth and other families in transition.  The program is funded by the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act and services are provided to families with school age children.  Children/families that are due to a lack of housing and living in a shelter, motor vehicle, campground, on the street, in abandoned buildings, or trailers, or doubled up with relatives or friends then are eligible for services under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act.

Can also offer assistance with clothing, help with school issues, questions or concerns, housing and community resource information, obtaining birth certificates, immunization records, and school records, parent and community education, referrals for dental, medical and mental health services, school supplies, summer camp programs, transportation, and tutoring services.

Privately owned company providing behavioral health services in the Meddle and East Tennessee areas.  Scarab is licensed as an Outpatient Mental Health Facility in the Middle and East Regions of TN.  Specializes in providing in-home supports to children and youth with a Developmental Disability diagnosis (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Traumatic Brain Injury, etc) and coexisting mental health issues that results in the child’s use of challenging behaviors.  Scarab’s Adolescent Psychosexual Program specializes in providing in-home supports to children and youth with inappropriate sexual behaviors.  Supports are additionally provided to the parents and/or guardians of the identified children and youth.
