Mothers on a Mission: Mission Statement/Pledge: Mothers on a Mission’s pledge is to help build strong relationships between mothers and their children through volunteering, community outreach, school involvement, leadership and most importantly to show love so that the world will know that the children are our future.

Mothers on a mission are looking for positive mothers with children ages 15 and under who would like to join this great group of women. For only $20 you and your children will gain a family. They only meet one Saturday out of the month for a couple of hours so it does not take a lot of your time. R.I.P. (Regional Intervention Program)

The Regional Intervention Program has been serving families with young children 
since 1969. RIP is an internationally recognized parent implemented program in 
which parents learn to work directly with their own children. Experienced RIP parents 
provide training and support to newly enrolled families. The program is available to
families in which there are concerns regarding a young child's behavior, and is 
coordinated by a professional resource staff person. Parents should feel free to contact
the program to discuss their concerns.

*Notes: They are a positive behavior management program who focus their efforts on children ages 6 and younger. You may refer Pre-K and K families. They also provide FREE training and for teachers and parents.

McNeilly Center for Children

Provides affordable childcare to children ages 16 months to 12 years whose parents are working, in job training, or in school.  Parenting education and social services are available to all families whose child is enrolled.

WIC is a supplemental nutrition program that provides nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and support and healthy food vouchers to participants of the program.  This program is available to pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up to the age of five who meet the income requirements.  WIC has four locations in Davidson County. Appointments are required.
