St. Luke's Community House


Provides the community with both GED preparation classes and English Language Learning (ELL) classes. ELL and GED classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Free childcare is provided during classes.

Metro Action Commission

The Metro Action Commission (MAC) education program provides classroom instruction leading to completing the GED or passing the GED test. Eligibility to receive service through MAC is based on income.

YWCA

Offers GED preparation programs throughout the day every weekday and on Saturdays at three different locations.  Instruction provided in all areas of the GED and practice tests are offered every week.

Provides GED education classes for parolees and probationers.  Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursdays.  At the Dickerson Rd location, classes are held from 5-7pm.  At the Blanton Ave location, classes are held from 5:30-7-30pm.
